Why is 97 yamaha virago hard to start when cold?
I've tried and "No" they won't fit!They're wider between the Cam Gear and the 1st Lobe. They'll fit in the head but when you crank the engine over to adjust them Cams the Lobes get into the Cam Journals. Sucks Huh!
The cheapest thing to do if you want to keep riding it while you wait on a set is to find a set of used cams and send them off to be reground. They can be reground off the back side of the Lobe without having to build up the front side by Hard Facing or Welding on them but you'll have to use thicker shims to Adjust the Valves.
I found a place that will regrind them for around 200.00 a set. And I should have a set of used ones if you need them.

No i dont think that would be a good idea to do you could bend a valve or a rod. The cams on the RR have a much more aggresive profile and could be to much fot the F4.Where is the battery on a 2000 Vino 49cc.?
cbr is a beauty ...i suggest that do not fondle her it can lead to some serious prob. and sometimes some mech. failure. i think no transplant needed for such a cool bike...
