It really depends on the year. On newer models they are about the same. (I own a 2003 Yamaha and a 2000 Honda). With models older than '90, the Hondas are generally more dependable but Yamahas are faster. All my mates and I have had Yammies for many years and none of us have had any problems at all, they are very reliable , you just have to make sure that they are serviced regularly (just like any other). Although I have heard the Hondas are pretty good to, but I'm yet to know someone that has one.I own both machines if u want a work horse get the Honda if u want just for the ride Yamaha but if u want both the new can am are all round it is from BOMBARDIER the high lander check it out best for the money
