Question:
i just bought a new dirt bike. i want to use the best possible products in it for the best performance and protection from wear. in the past i have always used regular Bel Ray 2 stroke oil. im wondering after break in on my new yamaha YZ125 if i should run synthetic premix and what ratio you all would recomend. yamaha recomends 35:1 others tell me 30:1 I dont ride very hard. thanks a bunch for your help.
Answers:
3 wheel motorcycle, like a snow mobile with wheels. what's it called?
Try the Bel Ray H1R synthetic. I think they recommend 40:1 with that oil. I hope that 125 is putting a big grin on your face, you definitely picked the best 125 on the market.synthetic is best using a product called sta-bil with it is even better. 40-1 mix is what i use
Although I do not have a specific recommendation, I would go with what the owner's manual specifies, and/or what your Yamaha dealership uses themselves in the shop. Using mixes and/or oils not recommended by the manual *may* void your warranty.
Is there any motorbikes wholesalers sites?
Use Yamaha brand oil in your Yamaha. Seriously. Ask your dealer for their recomendations. Synthetic is better than regular. The bottle should tell you what ratio to mix it. I used 32:1 because it was easy to calculate: 4oz of oil for every gallon of gas. I just have one tip: NEVER USE SYNTHETIC OIL IN A MOTORCYCLE GEAR BOX!Does Anyone Know If gas scooters under 50cc are street legal in Illinois?
i use 30-1 premix motul 710 with my wr200 ..no problems atall..i recommend only synthetic because with high power 2 strokes like your yz the ypvs clog up with semi synthetic ,engine wears easier , plugs foul generally more carbon deposits are leaft..More Questions & Answers ...
