They are both good helmets but I say the Scorpion, it's more comfterable.

You need to get the helmet that fits best and has a DOT and/or SNELL approval. Icon and Scorpion are both brands people know so it doesn't really matter which BRAND you buy.

Can I return a financed motorcycle?

I have the Scorpion and love it. Why? I tried the Icon-and found that Icon has a ways to go in development. In "my" opinion, Icon is a copy cat marketing company that is building off of other companies to sell products. The comfort and value of the Scorpion is much better and I think if you were to ask the sales folk, they would agree. Scorpion lacks flash, butt delivers function.

I had a Icon helmet once...Tried Suomy and never came back...Maybe Arai Helmets...its not as heavy as an Icon helmet..

Helmets should be bought off the shelf. brands seem to vary by size. Buy by fit. Arai is big bucks and shoie is not far behind.
