The Bugatti has blatantly stated they were going for the world's fastest and may make it soon, however the Mclaren F1 does indeed hold the fastest production car title for now. There are several custom built one-off cars that are faster but for regular production cars the Mclaren is the fastest. Its the same story for the bikes. No ducati is not the fastest bike made. Out of the factory it is the busa or the Y2k bikes. I think both will hit in the 230's im mph. And Yes the Bugatti is the fastest road production car to date. That dub guy was way wrong when he said the Mclaren is still the fastest it was in like 1995 or something. The Bugatti makes 1001 horsepower for a W-16 cylinder engine with 4 turbochargers. The top speed was reported to be 248mph and the was hit in the car in test runs was 247 mph. The car is all wheel drive and another cool feature is that you have to use a separate key to unlock the cars true potential. Also as a safety feature you can only go top speed if you are heading a a straight line, any turn of the wheel and the car will cut the speed down to a a safer 233mph!! another cool thing is that at top speed in the Bugatti is that the aerodynamic down force that the body produces exceeds the force of lift so you can theoretically drive the car up-side down in a tunnel at top speed!
