a 2005 ktm 125sx with a 144 big bore kit?

or a 2006 or 2007 ktm 125sx?

Are Ducatis the sportsbikes that require the most maintenance?

Well my advice is a little different. I'll just pretend I didn't see the answer referring to a KLR650 as super light. If these are used bikes I would suggest the one that has not been raced and that has the lowest hours. 125s and 250Fs could need some real work if they have been raced hard for a season or 2. If you are a beginner the KXF250 is a much easier to ride bike than the 125. It does have a little bit more power but the delivery is so much smoother than a 2 stroke 125. The 250Fs also do pretty good on trails where you would burn up the clutch on most 125s. If you plan on racing you will be at a disadvantage on the 125 also compared to the 250F. The 125 is still a fun bike and it is about $700 cheaper than a new 250F, but for a reason. If you do go with a 125 the YZ is a much better bike than the others. Good luck.

Hi Cody,

How to stop a raptor 660 clucth from slipping?

Because you are asking this type of question, I assume that you are new to motorcycles or at least new to dirt bikes. Having said that, here come my suggestions. I don't know how old or big you are so these are just general answers. You need to interpret them for your own situation.
Of those 4 bikes, I'd go with the Yamaha. Here are my reasons:
I would rule out the KTM's for a beginner because they are pretty expensive to buy and require a lot of maintenance. If you're on a limited budget, that is a real downer.
With an experienced rider aboard, they would be a fraction of a second faster than the others but that is a very small edge for a lot of money plus they are harder to ride.
If this is your first bike you are learning if riding is something that you are going to stay with or if you're just going to do it for a little while and then give it up. If you do stay with it, a little learning won't hurt you. And if you are not going to stay with it, selling the Yamaha will be easier and you won't lose as much money.
I would especially avoid the 2005 KTM 125 with a big bore kit. Unless you know who did the work and that it was done properly, you're probably just buying problems.
The 250 Kawasaki is too much bike for a beginning rider. That bike has the power to launch out from under you in a heartbeat. A 125 can do the same but it is a bit easier to control during your early learning curve.
Watch the races on TV and you'll see that the 125's are just about as fast around a race track than the 250's. The lighter weight of the 125's is what does it. They have almost the same Power to Weight Ratio as the 250's and are easier to steer and control. Riding isn't just about twisting the throttle, it is about controlling the whole machine.
Having said all this, if there is one bike that you have your heart set on... buy it. If you buy one that is just a "practical" decision, you'll never be happy with it. If you are not set on one bike in particular, I'd go with the Yamaha.
