Question:
Does someone make aftermarket pegs and shifter for the Ninja 500, so I don't have to bend my legs backward to reach those things when I am leaning forward to grab the handlebars?
Answers:
Can you upshift a motorcycle (specifically a sportbike) without using the clutch?
Rear-sets are adjustable, most of them anyway, and you could probably adjust the length of the shifter arm without aftermarket sets or pegs. Then again, most full-functioning aftermarket rear-sets bolt directly into the frame of the motorcycle for support, and moving the actual pegs to another location can be extremely difficult... or downright impossible on certain bikes.
When you ride this kind of motorcycle, the riding position is pretty much mandatory. It's not made for comfort, rather than aerodynamics and sheer speed. If you want to sit upright on a motorcycle, look into purchasing a sports-tourer or a crusier.

Doesn't sound like you want rear-sets! Woodcraft for example have a 1" rise and 2" rear set. I agree with Gabriel, if you don't like the peg position of a sport bike maybe you should look into a cruiser. However I may point out that whether it's your EX500 or other... the further forward you put your feet the more you compromise the handling of you and your bike... therefore also compromising your safety.More Questions & Answers ...
