I'm sorry but I don't know what either of the acronyms mean, but I assume both are metro lines, parts of which may be underground. Which is the reason for the rubber tyres. Later. in view of other answers, I would point out that trains equipped with rubber tyres do have flanges, projecting lower than those tyres, to keep them on the rails. And, incidentally, all railway wheels have tyres - it's just that they are usually made of steel.
