Signaller School (UK/Network Rail)?

Question:
How many weeks are spent at Leed/Watford, and how many at your signalbox? How much of that is spent on AB and how much on TCB? Thanks.

Answers:

What is the speed limit for trains?

You spend 9 weeks at signalling school which is a residential course. You then spend as much time as is necessary at your box doing on-the-job training and learning about your box and your area.

Why Don't Trains Have Cabooses Anymore?

I would say you would learn about both Absolute Block and Track Circuit Block at signalling school with a bigger emphasis on TCB as AB is outdated now. But having said that TCB is on its way out now so maybe you will learn about axle counters instead!!

What can I expect in an interview with CSX railroad for a manager trainee position?

At your box I would imagine you will only go over the type of signalling that your box controls. If you are working in a PSB/IECC or SCC then it will be all TCB.
