How can I be an MTA subway train operator (driver)?

Question:
What is the application process, e.g. exams to take? I checked the MTA website (www.mta.info), but I couldn't find specific information.

Answers:

Have you ever riden on a train?

You have to take a test. They post the exam listings at 18 Washinton Street in lower Manhattan .That is the Department of Citywide Adminstrative Services. You can go to nyc.gov/dcas for exams for the upcoming year. They handle all the tests for the M.T.A. New York City Transit.
