I just happen to be living in Shenzhen myself. I have not been to Hong Kong yet but I would go to the train station and find out. I know there are a bunch of tourist offices you could ask even if you are a native.
Just is case you don't know how to get to the train station. You get on the line 1 subway and take it all the way to Luo Hu. DO NOT go into the shopping centre. I went there for the first time a few days ago and I will never go back. There should be signs that say train station or something. I don't remember. Just follow those signs or at least get outside and you'll see it.
