The hotel I will be staying at in France is near the Roissy airport which is in zone 5 so all the nearby train stations/ subways are likely to be in zone 5 or zone 4 which is annoying as I just want to visit paris which is zone 1 &2.

Well, it depends how long you're going to stay there, actually.But, a ticket called "Paris visite" is, for zones 1-5:
1 day: 17,05€
2 days: 27,15€
3 days: 38,10€
5 days: 46,60€

With this pass, I think you can take the bus at night (see Noctilien map), but they don't talk about it so you'd have to ask when you buy it (at the airport).
Where do the underground trains in London park at night time? Is there one big place for them all?
I thought you might take the bus every day, but it would be too expensive to go there (return ticket from airport is 17€, plus metro ticket).
