Question:
I'm planning a history for my model railway layout 'Kingsford', and I want to know whether the two regions overlapped.
It si primarily based in the BR (LMR), but from living in London for most of my life, I absolutely love the NSE colour scheme.
I really want to add some NSE trains to it.
For more information on the layout, visit www.kingsfordstation.blogspot. or email me at kingsfordstation@gmail.com
Answers:
Railroad car?
Yes, it did. The LMR had London termini at Euston and St. Pancras, and later Marylebone when it became responsible for the lines out of that station. Network South East, however, wasn't a 'region' as the others were. That was set up at the time British Rail had given up regions and had subdivided itself into 'business sectors' - NSE, InterCity, Regional and the various freight sectors etc.
