If I buy a return train ticket from Charing Cross to Tonbridge, can I break my journey?

Question:
Basically will I be able to get off at Sevenoaks on my return trip or do I need to buy 3 seperate tickets.

Answers:

how hot is 100 degrees in spanish?

NO you dont need to buy 3 as long as your journey back to Tonbridge is on the same day.
just keep your ticket & if you need to, show it @ the exit on your way out.
I live in sevenoaks & when you go up the steps there is an exit door on the left before the barriers if you require a taxi & its @ peak time & you dont fancy waiting for one. Sit @ the back of carrage 3 or front of 4!! This is not a pi_s take, my girl told me this & its right. It will stop straight by the steps that go off of the
station!! Then its a free for all

whats liverpool railway station called?

As far as I'm aware you are allowed to break your train journey without having to buy any extra tickets so long as you don't overide your journey i.e go one stop further than your starting point or your finishing point hope this clears it up

How many fatalities on the railway have there been in or around biggleswade in November 2006?

You cannot normally break your journey, in the sense of exiting a station along the route then re-entering. You are allowed to change trains and follow any reasonable route (unless a specific route is stated on your ticket, which is unlikely) so long as you do not pass through an exit.

plz tell my the train details from hwh to mfp on 1st of march 2007 at 10pm?

Yes you ARE allowed to break your journey. Always have been - certainly as far as the trains you are talking about are concerned. You couldn't do it with something like a saver ticket with a seat reservation on an inter-city train. Nor does it matter if your ticket is inspected and clipped on each train.

Railway buffs: Which are your favorite railroad museums?

Right, could be a complicated one. The answer depends on many factors and as it's the railways, it won't be a simple one.

How long does it take for a freight train to stop?

You can break your journey as long as the route you are taking goes via the place you wish to break your journey. The most important factor though is the type of ticket you purchase. A standard single, return or open return will allow you to break your journey although they are the most expensive tickets you can buy in standard class. A general rule of thumb is: the cheaper the ticket, the more travel restrictions apply. Be prepared to spend more than a couple of minutes at the ticket office when purchasing for this journey...
