Who do you think deserves to win the Cross Country Franchise?

Question:
Virgin, National Express, Arriva or First.

Answers:

Union pacific bought csx?

Virgin should be allowed to keep it. This constant re-franchising is a total nonsense. Virgin have improved cross-country out of all recognition. They should also be allowed to retain their west coast cross country routes - it is a nonsense to hive these off to Transpennine. The civil servants who are now controlling the railway system couldn't tun a p***-up in a brewery.

Anyone know what the railroad frequencies are for the dallas area?

it would be really good, if however won it, treated the staff that have to work it, better, none of the about companies actually treat there stafff as people, just numbers...As usual it will the company that manages to tell the biggest and more convincing lies to the goverment, about how well they can run the services, without begging for to much money suppliments

In trains we want to know when we pull the chain train stops automatically or the driver will stop the train?

I doubt first will get unless they pay a lot for it. certainly following the internal war between First and the DfT over Great Western. (From what I hear it would have been a lot worse if the DfT had their way)

Punjab railways?

And if Arriva's bus operation is anything to go by.

About Railway?

Virgin deserves to win the new franchise. They have transformed the "Cinderella" service of years ago and made it a huge success.
