I live in Southern Ontario (Canada) where we really haven't had much snow yet, but high winds. How much weight should I add to my truck to *not* get blown over?
Right now I have 18 boxes of 30lb litter under the cover thingee and it's not doing much. Anyone out there who can help me out?

when are kids allowed to sit in the front seat?
Any rear wheel drive vehicle is prone to slipping, i have 8 35 pound sand bags in the back of my truck and i still slide around in my Ranger. With rear wheel drive theres not really any amount of weight you can put in the back without sliding around. Its a powerful engine in that truck and with that when ever you step on the gas you're going to slide. As for the winds blowing your truck over, i highly doubt that will happen, its possible but not very likly. How much do you reckon you can exceed the speed limit and get away with it?
i have my dakota now since 1994 baought it new and i tried different weight , on a long wheel base regular cab you can put 500 pnds i put 350pnds in my king cab and its the best for me. more then that is too hard on the truck and doesnt help more.trick get a frame made so this dont go sliding front to back . buy some patio sidewalk blocks like 3 inch thick and 24 inch by 24 inch put those in your box nicely scattered in the bottom of your box cut them if you have to with a diamond blade on a grinder youll have those for years and it will be nice and flat at the bottom and you will still have use of your box. Good luck and happy new yearsSome Advice Please....re: traffic accident?
There's not mush you can do except park facing the wind, I own a trucking company and its hard to keep forty tons of truck and trailer on the right side of the rubber :}Has anyone with an autistic child been pulled over for not having the seat belt on "properly"?

How do you get the ice off your car w/o scraper?
don't worry bout getting blown over, i live in Chicago and we get some crazy wind gusts (windy city) but Ive never heard of anyone flipping over because of the wind and i have a smaller truck and a bigger truck too. as for slipping you will just need to get used to it because since it is a rear wheel drive, this will just be a fact of lifewhat is the name of the car that went faster than the speed of sound?
You will need, like, 5 something or other bags. Put them in the back of the thingee, and hope the wind doesn't blow what's left of your brain out of your other ear.More Questions & Answers ...
