Also the covered wagon was the first RV (Recreational Vehicle). So these auto manufactures are quite behind on times given the history of vehicles, such as the International Scout in which that time they were called trucks whether they had a truck bed or was completely enclosed, same with the Ford Bronco, Chevy Blazer, Dodge Ram Charger, etc. All of which are actually built on a truck frame, so if you actually classify the vehicle its a truck, there isn't a registration code for SUV. Its either a car, truck, or van. Hmm, no SUV acronym mentioned was there, so I guess your SUV is actually a truck. Which is correct, The Ford Bronco was built on an F-150 frame, the Blazer was built on the same size frame as the 1/2 ton Chevy truck, the Dodge Ram Charger was built on the 1/2 ton dodge truck frames. So technically the SUV idea has been around since well before there were engines in vehicles.
