I suppose there may be some data relating car color to statisitics for accidents and moving violations (speeding tickets, etc.) but I would be surprised if a police agency would want to publish that data. Kind of like industry trade secrets - if the motoring public found out which colors were more likely to get tickets, the people who write up all those tickets might see their business fall off. Insurance companies might also have some statistics, so check with your agent.
Dupont publishes an annual automotive color preferences report. See the link below. Silver is the #1 color, followed by white.
Don't you feel bad after cutting someone off in traffic...?
There is a group called the Color Marketing Association (I think) that does a similar study.
Yes it should. I'm picky and I would never buy a vehicle that was tan or white. I hate those colors with a passion. My parents were mad at me for not buying an 01 F150 that was a pretty nice truck. I didn't mind the green color, but it was two toned in tan and had tan interior. There is no way I would've been comfortable making payments on a vehicle that had the wrong colors. Find a vehicle with the options, color, and engine you want. You'll be happy that you did down the road instead of saying oh i wish I would've bought that one with leather or a cd player.
why don't people turn on there headlights when it rains or is hard to see?

Case and point Honda preludes from 97-01. The green color is not a terrible looking color but the resale was very poor. When these models were still bringing good money a used green one could be picked up for a fair percentage less. Many Hondas are like this. Most popular colors being Black, Red, and White.

What are the license restrictions on a Louisiana license?
If you had a choice why not, it's something you have to drive and look at for a long time, part of your personality. I suppose if you're looking at a used vehicle and there aren't many out there, you buy it for what it is.Sure it would, if I was driving some butt ugly Ecru colored vehicle, my mind would be wandering, thinking how ugly this thing is, and probably get in a crash.
