Third they waste gasoline like mothers. Why not get a small economical car. If poeple think having a bigger car is better, they will KEEP GETTING BIGGER. Just stop here, stop wasting energy. If you need to tow something, that's different. But most of us just need to get to work then you only need a small car.
Another comparison-recently an off duty police officer in a Chevy Tahoe crashed into a mazda miata in a head on collision. The man in the miata only had a few bruses. The man in the Chevy died.

The only thing that really makes the larger trucks and suv's safer is the weight ratio between them and the smaller cars...If you have a 6000 pound truck going nose to nose with a 3000 pound car, the truck will have the weight advantage, nothing is guaranteed but the odds are better..
