Windshield with invisible wipers?

Question:
When I picked up my new car, it rained very hard on the way home. The dealer had put something on the windshield and the water run off so fast it was like it wasn't raining and didn't need my wipers at all. I have tried "rain x" and it helps but the best it does is collect dirt on the windshield. Anyone have any idea on what the dealer used or ayny ideas on what to use?

Ask the dealer or one of the car repair guys at the dealer. Most are more than happy to tell you. The way they get that new car smell in used vehicles is just a little Armour All. The plasticizer in the liquid that helps keep the plastic flexible and from cracking gives it that new smell.

I have patent product...?

I use rain-X all the time with no dust collecting. After you wipe on the X you wait for it to glaze then buff it off. The temp has to be over 40 to do this. I love rain-x..

Please help me with this question/concern*********Thank you sooo much?

Titanium dioxide is one of the best repellents of rain and dust.

Is it as safe to drive at night as day on the highway, if you know the road?

I would go back to the dealer and ask them they can tell you what it was they applied to your windshield.
