Does anyone own a Scion TC that has an infant? I need to know if it's a safe car for someone with a baby.?

My child is 1 1/2 and in a forward facing car seat. I was wondering if the Scion TC has plenty of room in the back seat.

Its a compact car. I would be worried about rear impact or side impact. Hang your tail between your legs and go buy a miniwan for a few years than go back to a sporty car when the kids can get in and out by themselves. Believe me its a pain in the back to try to get infants in and out of the backseat. the bending over and reaching in to put the kid in or out of the seats is bad on the back and shoulders. I tried for a few months with my mustangs. we sold them both both a 4 door fullsize car and minivan. now that their 5 and 7 we bought mustangs again. the kids are happy we got mustangs and they dont have to be dropped off at school in a minivan or the "uncle buck" car. theres no leg room either if you wanna take someone besides the other half for a ride too.
