Where can I get a ride at midnight?

Question:
My school is putting me on a field trip and dropping me off of the school at 12AM (MIDNIGHT). I have no ride home and can't hitch a ride from my friends (as of right now). What should be my choice (not my parents since they're sleeping and they'll get grumpy)?

Why do we turn lights "out" when we turn most other things "off"?

If there is no way a friend or a family member can take you home, I would ask a teacher going with you on the trip or one of the other chaperones. I am sure if you explain your situation someone will be able to give you a ride.

By the way, have you ASKED your parents? I know it's late and they might be "grumpy," but I am sure they would rather get up to come get you than wonder if you are okay so late at night.

The school is responsible for your safety and should make sure all students are delivered to their homes or their parents custody, not to an abandoned school at midnight. If they do, call the police to have your teachers arrested then drive you home *lol* that'll only cost you a quarter

Finally, if my child was on a school trip, and didn't call me without a ride home, I would be upset. I personally think any parent that gets "grumpy" because their child calls them in need of a ride from a school function needs to re-evaluate their parental guidelines.
