Answers:

Does anyone know of speed cameras in South Cambs that are NOT in a sensible place?

lo jack is an anti theft device that is controlled by a monitoring station. if you have the device installed in a vehicle or anything else of substantial value and it gets stolen, you call the 800 number that you were given with the device and give them a serial type number that they enter to trigger the device to turn on. after turning the device on, law enforcement, with special locating devices, can center in on where the item is.
