I am looking to buy a 2007, 4 door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I have a 2 year old, so I would like to find out the Child Safety Rating on this vehicle. I would also like to know how many car seats it can safely hold.

If you're concerned about safety ratings, a Wrangler is one of the sturdiest vehicles on the road (unlike other abortions with the Jeep logo on them). But if that's what you're looking for, then get a minivan instead.Are you offended by those chrome testicles on the back of pick up trucks ?
It would be a cruying shame to get a Wrangler and not use it for its intended purpose, which is to go off-roading. Not driving on dirt roads or rolling through a 6-inch deep, Hummer-sized puddle, I'm taling about SERIOUS four wheeling. Wranglers are made to do more than back over your flowerbed, unlike everything else on the market.

You can find comprehensive safety ratings at www.informedforlife.org - they take the safety ratings from multiple agencies and put them in a format that easier to read/compare. The Wrangler 4 door rates as "above average risk" scoring a 113. The safest vehicle on the road (Kia Sedona) scored a 51. Top safety picks score up to a 69. At a score of 70 vehicles become a medium risk and at 101 above average risk. Personally I would not put my children in a vehicle that scored above a 69, in fact I drive a Kia Sedona.I got in a car accident. You tell me if its my fault.?
