What is the physics rule behind driving cars safely in curve road?

Pedestrians stay on the sidewalk, if none then the left side. Bicycles are considered vehicles and follow the vehicle code, drive on the right side :)

why do people take their kids out of a car on the roadside??

You should stay on the same side of the road as traffic. So, if you are on a bike, and are traveling in the right side of the road, you should be heading in the same direction as the cars traveling on the right side od the road. You should always be moving WITH traffic, not away from it.

Pedestrians are to walk facing oncoming traffic when there is no sidewalk available. Bicyclists are to ride with traffic, because they are vehicles.

when you are driving on a 4 lane rode and a school bus is stoped on the oposite side of the rode do you stop?

Since there is no controlled traffic for walking, pedestrians can walk on either side of the street provided that there is a proper walkway/parkway. Bicyclists can go either way most of the time, however, since bicycles are a form of "vehicle", it is advised (& in certain parts of the roads of town, it is required) that bicyclists go in the same direction as all other moving vehicles.

what's the best response when a car skids out of control on a surface slick with diesel?

The law says you are to travel going the same direction as the vehicles. So that means you walk or run or bicycle with your back to the traffic. Move the same direction as traffic. In the 70's for a while they changed it so you would travel torward the oncoming traffic but that did not work out. The problem with that is that when lets say someone at a stop sign is turning right, they are looking to thier left to make sure that it is safe to move into the flow of traffic... so now you have a person on a bicycle coming from thier right and that is a problem. Try it yourself. It is not natrural to look and see if it is safe to make a right and then check for traffic on the left as well. It does not make since. Due to the increase in accidents, injuries and fatalities, they quickly (not quick enough) squashed that idea. It was a cheap non-effective solution before bike lanes and general public awareness as to give bikers and pedestrians room on the road.

do youthink that doctors are accountable for their callousness?

Here in Uk pedestrians always have right of way. Cyclist have formed pressure groups to get cycle lanes which they never use. They also have right of way n- in that if you knock one of them over not only are you going to feel horrid they are are going to scream b******* murder! i Pods and mobiles give the user an impression of being invincible - they don't hear or see traffic and are quite happy to risk lire and limb to step randomly off kerbs. The compensation from the devasted driver might seem good but a broken neck lasts forever.........
