Question:
is it 14 cause my little sister says it is and shes wants to move there with her aunt so she can drive in 1 year
Answers:
Anyone have a link to a reliable safety rating site specifically for child safety seats?
At age 14 you can get a learner's permit, which allows you to drive with a parent. After you have had your learner's permit for 6 months, if you have passed a Driver's Education course you can get a School Permit which will allow you to drive by yourself to school related events only. When you turn 16, again if you have passed the Driver's Education course, you can get a limited license. This means you have the same rights as any other licensed driver EXCEPT there is a curfew, and if you have any violations it can either be taken away, or you will be kept on the limited license for a longer amount of time. If you turn 17 and have no violations of any kind, you can then get the normal and regular driver's license. If you have violations, or if you don't take the Driver's Education course and pass it, then you have to wait until you are 18 to get a license.16

I'll bet your little sis is wrong. Age 14 in Iowa probably would qualify her to operate a John Deere tractor in an alfalfa field. Call Iowa dept. of motor vehicle's and ask for info--- Oops I just read the answers from the people who live in Iowa--- never mind.More Questions & Answers ...
