Taxis...or is that Taxii, are treated no differently when it comes to laws than a bus or subway. So yes, it is legal.No, but yes they can if they have a car seat or you carry a car seat along...but no seat belts in the taxi then it is a no.

I believe that you can travel in a taxi the same as a bus, without a carseat.They fall under the same laws as a bus, I guess since most taxi travel is short distance.

yes with the infant seat,unless you get a driver who refuse to carry your baby w/the seat(some cabs are indenpendly owned and willnot pick you up ,make sure when you call a cab let them know you have a infant seat so they won't do a shared cab ride.Car Seats and Trucks in the State of PA?
