Question:
I drive a 4 door, automatic, 2000 Toyota Echo. Today I've noticed that when I make a sharp turn or hit a bump in the road I hear a banging noise coming from underneath my car. I've never heard this noise before and I'm scared to drive it anywhere. Does anyone know what this banging noise could be? Or if it's safe to drive it? I would greatly appreciate any responses. Thanks in advance! *Courtney*

How does a redundant braking system work. What happens if a brake line fails?
sounds like your front cv joint is about to go out, it is the the part that drives the wheel to make the car go, if it breaks while you are driving it the car will go no more. i would suggest that you very carefully, and avoiding any sudden take offs and turns take it to a toyota dealer to have it repaired.what are some questions that are asked in taking driving licese test?...?
The bushing on the top mount on one of the front shocks has worn away, so when you hit a bump, or turn hard, or up a driveway, you hear that "CLUNK", the wheel WON'T fall off but, replace the bushing, it's not a big deal.More Questions & Answers ...
