I owna 2004 wrx with an automatic! It has around 350 horses! Automatic is the way to go, yo dont have to worry about the clutch burning out or even the transmission... automatic is so much easier because u can concentrate on the road moreCan children sit in the front seat of a car with their carseat if the passenger airbag is off?
For years I drove a 4 speed and really liked it, until I got an automatic...now I'd never go back; all that shifting...it does help with gas mileage though, but I'm an 'automatic fan' now....Anyone drive or ride in a car with automatic seat belts and not use the lap part of the belt?
driving a 5 speed manual is more fun and lets connects you to your car and the road better since you have more control not to mention gas mileage an auto is good if your lazy and dont like to shiftHelp me with number of drunk driving...?
I've always driven a standard, however I'm currently driving a prius hybrid which is drive by wire (fancy automatic). I drive it for the gas mileage, I drive in excess of 30K miles per year.I don't think I'll ever go back to a standard.
Automatic, explorer.. know how and have driven 5-speeds in the past, but something always wears out in the end on them. It's also more complicated to do anything else (esp. with kids in the backseat) while your shifting gears all the time.
It got to have a manual.

Financial group-turning in a car?
For years, the manuals were usually more fuel efficient and quicker overall. Ironically as the industry improves and the technology advances, we have automatics now that are more fuel efficient, and quicker (thanks to hydraulics) that their manual counterparts.Has anyone driven Nitto nt555 tires in the winter? If so how did they handle?
You even have some sports cars, which now have "manu-matics" instead of ful manual because they know fuel mileage improves, which helps their companies C.A.F.E. credits, it's easier to install, and requires less maintenence than a manual.
Sould smoking be banned while driving?
I myself have always had automatics. If the car can do it itself, why would I bother. There's enough traffic around me that it becomes annoying if I had a manual. I do drive manual... a time or 2 on a friends car because they were so drunk they couldn't drive, but it's a bit too archaic for me to be focused on. And if I do get in someones car and it's a manual, they better shift softly, or I'll throw up on them :)

Every vehicle I've owned has had a manual transmission, and I have no desire to change that. Shifting gears is just as much a part of driving as braking.More Questions & Answers ...
