Question:
A big rock hit my car windshield about couple months ago while I was driving on the highway. I did not notice a fracture crack about 1 inch until three days ago. During the time I noticed the crack on my window until I got home (approximately 1/2 hour), the crack lengthened to about 1 foot. I also wondering what other options I have besides replacing my windshield.

Windshields that are severely damaged must be replaced of course. The make/model of your vehicle depends on the cost of replacement. If you do, take it to a reputable shop because a brand-new, but leaking, windshield is almost worse than a cracked, but still watertight one.
