Incorrect offset?

Question:
I have new wheels on my car and I would like to make sure that there's not going to be any problems because of a whrong offset. What could be possible consequences of incorrect offset? What is a way to find out if the offest is incorrect. Presently the only difference is that the steering wheel tends to pull a little to the right sometimes. Is that indicative of a potensionally serious problem that could result?

My mazda protoge5 keeps sliding in the snow almost got into a couple off accidents... What should i do?

I would suggest any time you change the offset you need an alignment especially if it pulls.
Remember that having an offset means the tire is no longer directly over the center of the wheel, this will cause pre-mature bearing failure. depending on the severity of the offset.
I have had Honda's inthe shop with as much as 4" offset and the bearing are shot in 10,000 miles. Any offset is incorrect as the design of the hub is for 0 offset
