I thought it would be wise to ride my bike to the pub instead of driving. I got busted for drink driving because a bike is a vehicle. Is this law ( in Australia ) the same in any other places?

I'm sorry, truly, but this made me laugh, the wheelchair too. Never thought about this, however bikes are licenced in Canada so I guess that makes them subject to the same laws. Seems sort of unfair, still I guess you could create an accident.It's similar to the guy who pulled over to the side of the road and passed out. He got charged for driving drunk. Seems you have to take the keys out of the ignition and crawl into the back seat to be safe.
