What should you do if car breaks down and your alone?

I don't understand what this means?

If you are on the freeway-try to get off of the freeway before you stop your car. If you are a woman stay in your car until a police officer comes, especially if it is at night or on the freeway. if you have a cell phone, call AAA or something like that if you have it so you can get your car towed to the neasest shop. If you are a man-well that is your call. I am saying this since men are stronger and more able to fend for themselves. Woman, many of times if alone could be a victim...better to wait for a tow truck or police if you don't have a cell phone with you.

common sense would tell you to check to see why your car broke down, see if you can fix whatever it is.. pulled off to the sideof the road, put yur blinkers on and open the hood and keep it open, if you cant fix what it is, then call someone to help.. maybe a good samaritan might help you never know
