Parking an RV - dang!!?

Question:
Some say, when the rear wheels are close to the driveway, you stop and back up the RV. Some say, when the tail end of the RV is lined up with the driveway, you can then back up the RV. Hum, either one is difficult for me!! What is your trick? I almost always end up jack-knifing the RV. It is a 30 foot rig. A far cry from my ex-pop-up. Got a sketch?

Can anybody tell me what the Watchman Traffic Calming Scheme is?

It the dawned on me, that the IMPORTANT wheels are the rear wheels of the towing vehicle, which are the point (almost) from which the van pivots. By "seeing" your rera wheels mentally, as a fixed pivotong axle, you can work out the direction that the van is going to go simply by looking at the angle between the length of the driving vehicle, and that of the van.

Have you used or heard of 'puncture proof' for tyres?

All you then have to worry about is whether the front end of the driving vehicle is going to clobber something, but you just take your time and check regularly.

Use a spotter far from danger to help guide you. Take your time to get uses to It. Never back up unless you have a spotter in a camp ground where their is kids running around not paying attn when you do back up don't over steer turning a little bit to the right will turn the travel trailer alot to the left the further the wheels are from the rear of your truck the more sensitive it is also when trailering store the weight in the front too keep from tail wagon.
