im a truck driver wiyh a dedicated run /i got sik on my run an the company had to get a nother driver to complete my run for me while i was off for 3 days on sik leave .my employer notified me that when i return to work iwas to take a different run for less pay am i getting shafted or by law shuold they have to offer me my same run bak or the different run at the same rate of pay i was making on the first run be for i got sick

I feel really bad for you soldier. If you work for a large corporation then you could probably protest and report your supervisor. If you work for a small company like i'm picturing, you probably can do nothing because in the end they would fire you. My brother was working a side job under the table and missed work for 2 days. Doesn't sound right. Your job is protected when you are on disability. The employer must offer you the same job or a similar job when you return. Being out only 3 days hardly counts as a disability. Slip seating is legal unless you have a union and are under contract. Most companys I drove for kept you at the same rate of pay but they are not really required to. Never give up a dedicated run unless you are hospitalized.
