Straight through traffic always has the right of way unless otherwise posted.Well if you're sitting at a traffic signal and it's red, you have to stop. When it's green you can proceed if it's safe to do so. If you want to turn left, you have to wait for oncoming traffic to clear. Motorists going straight have the right of way.
