Do you think seat belts save lives or take lives? Best answer gets 10 points.?
If you are on a 4 lane highway with a wide median divider..a true divided highway designed like an interstate highway. You don't have to stop under that condition if the bus is on the set of lanes on the opposite side of the roadway. But a traffic "island" or double yellow lines do not count as a median. Why do people say "she died because she wasnt wearing a seatbelt"?
No no and no.There is an expectation that cars stop--behind or in front of the bus when that happens so students may safely cross. No exceptions.
what does visual lead time mean?
Nope, yoau just have to sit back and wait for them to be finished.... sorry dudeI was involved in a accident. I was rearended by a Semi. Will my car be Totaled?
No they don'tIf the lights are flashing and kids are getting out of the bus. Don't go. If the lights are flashing and they're just pulling over. You can go, just go slow. If the stop signs are out. You stop. The lights are more just like telling you "hey kids are going to be getting out soon". But you usually don't have to stop just for the lights.

No. You should always stop. What's another 30 seconds added to your daily commute if you stop and you really don't have to.If an ambulance pulls out ahead of me (in emergency mode) am i allowed to follow it?
I've found that bus drivers will wave you on if you are stopped and aren't required by law to be.
I was in a car accident and was injured and?
When a school bus has the stop sign out, you must stop until the sign goes away. The flashing light is merely to have the general public recognize that there is a school bus near them. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I had to drive school bus for a short time in the Army (there was a drivers strike). The bus I was in got hit broad side by a car. The driver said he didn't see the bus.How old to you have to be to sit in the front seat of a car with air bags?
ALWAYS stop! You'll get a ticket. It's so not worth it.Renewing a drivers license eye test?
no doble yellow lines have no matter in why stop signs are out on a bus .... because there is a stop aign that is sometimes out when that bus is stopped that means you need to stop because kids are getting out of that bus that is stopped, and the meaning of the bus that has flashng lights is becausetheir backing up or they have their brakes on
so, thats what they mean but, no double lines or "islands"
have nothing to do with the flashing lights or stop signs are out when th bus is stopped or stopping , but that's what i think ,
though you might have another meaning for the "islands " and double yellow lines when the bus has lights flashing or stops signs out on the bus , i rather think the double lines or the "islands " have no matter in about these flashing lights or double yellow lines, but you can make your meaning , and what the islands and yellow double lines have to do with your question , you can say what you want , but i got my meaning just like other people have theirs but you can have your meaning which is you may think islands and yellow double lines have something to do with the buses , but i really do hope this actually helps .
Some Advice Please....re: traffic accident?
You have to stop all the time. Those lights and the stop sign are to inform you when there is the possibility of you hitting and killing a child if you disobeyI think its the same rule as with emergancy vhicles, divided highways are the only exeption. although I doubt there would be a bus stop on a divided highway
An island -- a built-up physical barrier or safety zone -- is an exception.
Double yellow lines are NOT.
Is it a fact that using cruise control in the rain is unsafe?
If the bus driver motions you to proceed you may do so, but use extreme caution.
What do people get out of tailgating??I HATE IT SOOOOOOOOO MUCH !!?
Check your state and local traffic laws. Here in Idaho, on a road with four or more lanes, or two lanes with a divider, or two lanes separated by a turn lane, you do not have to stop if you are traveling in the opposite direction of the bus.
