I've owned Toyotas and Hondas in the past. The Japanese made cars were far superior in overall quality then the American made versions made in Kentucky. Little things like sun visors falling off after 12,000 miles... the replacement fell apart after 6 months. I think we'll see a decline in sales because of these little things.
Just bought a German made car...wow! So much better quality than Toyota. I couldn't be happier.

They are NOT better. A lot of Americans have been brainwashed to think they are. It just isnt true anymore. The Americans have closed the gap but for some reason a lot of people wont accept it. Look at a lot of the quality surveys that are conducted and you will see the facts. Go drive some new American cars and you will see. Quality and pride in workmanship. It has a lot to do with the companies attitude and philosophy to the building of cars. Japanese companies believe in the philosophy no matter were the cars are built, which is ironic. Since after WWII the American manufacturers tought them how and then the big 3 sat on their laurels while the Japanese took it to heart and excelled at it.Notice I say Japan not Korean.
