In MOST states, if you're on a TWO LANE road, you must pull over to YOUR RIGHT and STOP. On a FOUR LANE or more highway, you can keep going if the emergency vehicle is coming toward you and the highway has a median. If it is coming up from BEHIND, move over to the closest lane that the emergency vehicle is NOT in. Either way, GET YOUR HIND PARTS OUTTA THE WAY safely!
