If a pedestrian is crossing the highway, should the driver stop or pass by?

Yes, I've used it. They are called "pre-emptive tyre sealants". The big name in the UK for this is "ultraseal" but there are lots of similar products.

I used to use a product called "slime" on my bikes & it works really well, will seal holes up to 5mm.

Do you think that the driver's permit age should be raised? Please explain your answers!!!?

You can find lots of these products on eBay, are they worth it? I think so, won't necessarily save you much money but they can avoid a lot of hassle changing tyres on the hard shoulder of the motorway in the dark & p1ssing rain.

At what speed crash does the driver's airbag on an S-reg Ford Escort deploy?

edit. A number of answers here suggest that this is a get you home fix. Not so. There are 2 different products here, the one in question is put into the tyre before a punture occurs & stays in the tyre for the life of the tyre.

Am I a pratt?

The second type is the punture sealant foam like "tyreweld" which you use after a puncture, on this you are only supposed to drive at 30 mph & get tyre repaired or changed as soon as possible.

With the pre emptive sealants there is no restriction on distance or speed & the tyre does not need to be repaired after a puncture has happened.

I'm told people with ADHD are in more accidents. How can you decrease the chances of getting into a wreck?

if you mean the foam stuff you buy from any car accessorie shop i can't remember the name, it works and yes it is good, but it's only meant for a quick fix until you get the tyre replaced. i think it's not meant to solve the puncture altogether, just gets you out of a muddle if you get a puncture. i got some last year it was about £6.99 for a can, halfords sell it too.

How do pothole's apear in some roads overnight?

When the police stop you in a car why are they so rude 90 percent of the time?

apparently theres this spray that goes on the valve into the tyre called "green slime" that uses centrafugal force to seal up punctures ..please excuse spelling ... but i have tried to find it on the internet and have had no results.

Why was Jon Corzine not charged with a seat belt violation in his crash the other day in NJ?

run flats are ment to allow u to drive 200 miles on a flat but you can only do 50mph also cars that come with these dont have a spare trye and they are a fortune to replace with the foam it will be cheaper bing it yourself and doing it it is easy

never tried it although my girlfriend used to sell it. Considering my tyres are over £150 each...i`d say £25 for the 4 seems like a good idea.

Are indicators an optional extra now?

There are several products that will do this. However they are only get you home fixes. You can tell if they have sealed a puncture as some of the coloured material leaks thru the hole. Most tyre depots don't like repairing punctures where this has been used as it prevents the repair bonding to the tyre. A lot of motor cyclists use it as a puncture is more serious on 2 wheels.
