What's the precise definition of full stop by law? such as how many seconds must keep the car static?

I learned a long time ago that uncontrolled crossings are dangerous. If you can't see a train coming you go slow, you stop, you open your windows and listen, but you don't drive onto the tracks until you are sure it is clear. A moving train has the right of way, always, every state, every province.

Can anyone survive without a mobile phone.idiots driving on phone should be locked up?

That's tough. I'm sorry you're going through that. It's possible the railroad crossing is badly engineered, or unsafe in some way, and that's worth a look at the crossing. Talk to the city or county road commission, state department of transportation if it's a state highway. But you know... ultimately the driver has to be mindful, cautious and safe on his own. There's nothing they can put at a railroad crossing to fix that. Encourage the rest of your family and friends to think about railroad crossings as a place to be safe.

Is it true speed cameras have to be callibrated every day?

Signs or not, if you can't tell when a TRAIN is coming, you probably shouldn't be driving.

Reverse Parking?

LAW trains must blow their wistle when aproashing ANY crossing. NO MATTER WHAT. Unless its a private crossing which means there is nothing you can do about it. I am sorry.
