Strut/Shock problem, is it safe to drive?

Question:
From what ive read replacing worn struts/shocks is more of a performance issue than a safety issue. If you take the corners sensibly and can put up with with the handling, iI think it is safe. Anyone agree with me, or am i way off?

i own a repair shop,and worn struts are bad ,but you can drive with them,its not impossible,it just makes the drive a little rough sometimes,but if you use good common sense you can drive around with them until you can get them replaced,they can become a safety issue it they start rattling or getting loose,but usually you can drive on them for a while with them bad ,its just a matter of using common sense and knowing how to drive,good luck,i hope this help,s.
