I park in a 2hr parking space everyday for free. I know this sounds kinda scandalous, but I move my car every two hours. Is this legal?

Check w/ the police station. I did this with a 1 hour space, and got a ticket after I moved my car. When I appealed the ticket I was told the 1 hr sign refered to the whole street - as in, you can only park on the street for 1 hr.well if you are moving it every two hours sure i guess?

Yes! Where we work if we're going to be away for several day, we leave our keys and someone from our office will move your car every 2 hours 1 spot back or forward to keep you legal. (or use "Armour All" to erase the chalk mark from your tire so they can't show you were parked there more than 2 hours). It works if they use chalk marks on the tire (usual), but not if they are recording plate numbers (sometimes). The idea of a parking time limit isn't to make you move the car it is to free up spots for other people. If a store had 10 spots in front, and 10 people kept moving their cars slot to slot all day, nobody could come down to do any business, so you are cheating the system.More Questions & Answers ...
