I am asking because i have had a lot of close calls when i have been in the crosswalk. Thursday night was the closest i have ever been to getting hit. The person did not even stop to see if i was ok.

The reason why many drivers don't pay attention while turning left or right is that may be they want to make a quick turn

I'm starting to think the biggest reason anymore is due to the use of cell phones. People think they can concentrate on their driving while holding that phone but it's been proven time and time again you're not giving your full attention to where it belongs...driving. That's my two cents anyways.....How do you drive safely every day?
