Unless your doctor has told you not to, carry on until such time as the DVLA make a decision. There's some useful gen on here : http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/motoring/dri...Do you call 911 when you drive and some maniac driver zigzags between every car in sight?
BTW, not telling them is an offence. If anything happens which causes anyone's health to be investigated and they find there's a condition they should have been told of - deep doodoo!
Going around mail trucks when there is oncoming traffic ?
I'm diabetic & they are happy for me to continue.
No,if you have been told by a doctor not to drive ,the time will start from that moment ,and your insurance will also be void.
If your doctor has said you are fit to drive but that you have a notifiable condition then you may continue to drive. However the DVLA may ask you to attend a medical or even suspend your licence pending a medical in which case you would have comply . how when i notified them of my condition i just got an acknowledgement . Bear in mind though you will need to inform your insurance company immediately or your insurance could be cancelled
When should I use Cruise control?
Not realy it takes time for you to get notice from d.v.l.a. but the information you give can take as little as say 24 hours to put on the system, so if you was to have an accident and the police do a check it will show and they will nick you if the details you gave the d.v.l.a. mean you cannot drive then you are in the do-do.More Questions & Answers ...
