actually it is not safe at all, I personally had a vehicle in this condition, and I, being the crazy one, continued to "ride the wave" so to speak through the corners. Eventually they will get bad enough and you will take a curve a little bit too quickly and flip over and make yourself look silly or die in the process.. luckily for me I was looking pretty silly. All seriousness aside though, it was pretty fun, and having your car bounce around for a mile after hitting a speed bump was pretty interesting ;) .. dont drive it though.. seriously..Rear-ended on highway by motorcycle, hazards failed?
Yes. Struts are the primary suspension parts on your vehicle. When they go bad, something as small as a rock could send you careening out of control.Is it me or it seems that no one follow the speed limit signs anymore?
it would be highly adviseable to get them changed asap. they are the only things that control how far the front tire bounces after they hit a bump. and they also put pressure on the tire to hold it to the road.if they're sloppy, they'll bounce all over the place. no traction, ur gonna get screwed. there's alot of forces at work in the vicinity of the struts. they're under extreme stresses.More Questions & Answers ...
