Park light is to light up the rear, when you engaged 'Reverse', to help you see better in the dark!Is it legal to pay other people's parking meters?
Your trailer may not install with this light. Thus there is no any wiring layout, Nothing wrong to the car or wiring.
The essential lights are side/rear light, directional light and the stop/brake light for the trailer. These 3 types of light must work concurrently with your car lighting system.

Why did NHTSA fail to insure that the products being marketed were safe?
You only need the park lights at night. If you do drive at night there is a chance someone with poor eyesight won't see the trailer you are pulling and run into it. Police also generally give trailers a reasonably good glance as they know that people often have them in poor condition.First check the globes in the trailer. They are often lose or blown. Then check the car plug wiring. The park light is powered by the middle pin on a 5 or 7 pin round trailer connection. It is usually a brown wire on the trailer side. Check that power is getting to the pin with a multi meter or a test lamp. Good luck. Trailer lights are buggers to deal with, but patience and practice will get you there.
