I will be taking it in a small town, but is there certain little things that i should remember? Any tips and suggestions on parrell parking, 90 degree backing, etc...Im nervous, and i think thats going to mess me up. When i parrell park in what order do i do things? like signal, pull up to the car in front of spot, 4-way flashers, look in blind spots, then start to attempt to park?? Any thing else that you feel could help me out? thank you!

To parallel park:How fast do you enter a freeway on a straight clear road with a distance of 500 feet?
1. Signal your turn over to the side of the road (to let people behind you know)
2. Pull up to the car in front of the empty space.
3. Check behind you and to the side (blind spots!)
4. Put car in reverse and go backwards
5. Hard right turn - then straight
6. Hard left turn, then straight

Not as hard as it sounds - but takes a little practice. I usually could get my students to do it in 3-4 tries

just pull ahead of the spot and turn your turn signal on and back-up. practice until then. p.s. always look in your side mirrors and rear-view mirror and even turn your head around to check and see if you are clear for your moves! you will be fine!why does Illinois give a drivers license to people who have missed 6 SIX questions on the test?

I was a Driver Examiner. From what you are saying, you know what to do. The best thing to do is practise, practise, practise, your parallel parking. When you go for the exam, pretend your with a friend. Do not get nervous. We are used to people just learning. We don't expect you, to do it all, smoothly, like someone who has been doing it for years. You don't have to be perfect.What age/weight does a child need be to stop using a car seat?

did you even study. if you did then you should be okay. its not like your doing something that takes any creative brainpower. its like basic math 1 plus 1 is always 2. you always check your blindspot before you merge into another lane and you always stop at red lights and stop signs. dont be worried if you studied you will do good and pass if you didnt you wont and there will be one less bad driver on the road. better to fail your test than to get into a crash because your not ready to drive.More Questions & Answers ...
