I have a mild seizure problem because of an epilepsy. Would the DMV(Department of Motor and Vehicles) still grant me a driver's license because of this problem even though this problem was already controlled by medication?

As long as the seizures are well-controlled by medication and your doctor can verify this, with a written statement, I see little to no problem with you operating a motor vehicle. There will be a medical records/review department that will make an assessment based on your medical history and medical recommendations based on the level of control.I tell you what, if you caused an accident because you have a seizure...buy no telling what would happen to you. Not quite sure of your location. But where I live ( Australia) No epileptic is permitted to drive a vehicle, operate machinery or work ate heights. All for good sensible reason
