Question:
Dear Sir,
Driving (up a hill )difficulty
During traffic on a slope(your driving direction is upwards),the car has to be stopped using conventional brake (suppose hand brake is inoperative)and pessing the clutch without shuting down the engine as expecting green light to illuminate (your foot is removed from acceleration pedal) .
What to do according to your driving practice to push the car upwards( as the car goes downwards)?
Ways to better survive after a car crash?
1-To release clutch pedal partially, and at the same time release brake pedal to depress acceleration pedal strongly .
or
2-to press by one foot both acceeration lightly plus brake while releasing clutch partially then press that foot at acceleration pedal
or
3-to press the clutch and brake by one foot ,then release it while pressing acceleration with the other foot,

i used to drive a standard transmission years ago, and lived in a hilly area. the easiest and safest way to get going again is the following.
1: engage and hold the parking brake
2: release clutch until u feel it grab. be careful, too much clutch release will stall the engine.
3: add slight amount of gas and just a touch more clutch till u feel the car put slight pressure against the brake. at this time, u are in what is called the 'friction zone'. the friction zone is a grey area between the clutch fully open and fully closed. this also works on motorcycles in giving more stability and control at very low speeds.
4: release the parking brake at the same time u: release more clutch while adding gas.
what are the possible causes and ways of prevention of aviation accidents in Nigeria?
do it right, and u'll come off the stop sign smooth and without stalling the engine. having the parking brake engaged eliminates the possibility of rolling backwards and possibly hitting another car. it just takes a little co-ordination, with practice, u'll have it down in no time.
what do you in your driving liense?
i always right heel the brake and feather the accelerator w /my right toes.you must have,or develop this talent.it takes a lil practice.
the white diamond line is only used for carpool or buses if no sign ahead?
When I was first learning to use a clutch I would use option 2. Once I got used to the clutch pedals release point I would just quickly take my right foot off the brake and press the gas pedal while releasing the clutch with my left foot. When you get good at it the car will hardly move back at all doing it this way.If you want to make a left turn at an intersection, and your'eon the right side do you go 1st?
keep the foot on the brake. release the clutch partially until you feel it engaging, then release the brake and press the accelerator. Carefully.Of the three, I would go with option 1. In reality, you need to know exactly where your clutch begins to grabs. On a steep hill, jump on the gas at the same time that you release your clutch to the grab point. If you do not go directly to the grab point, you will stall or roll backwards. You may need to hold the clutch a bit in until you get rolling. This is known as riding the clutch, and it wears a lot on the clutch, but is effective in getting rolling in tough situations.
On another note, you can put your car in reverse to show the back-up lights to let other vehicles know that you may roll back. Just remember to put it in the right gear before trying to go again.
